Being on the list changes how a category can be bought.
Issued through the government portal, the certificate sets the baseline that determines price-preference eligibility.
Qualifying Saudi products and SMEs receive a 10% price preference in government tender evaluation.
For qualifying high-value government contracts, local content carries a 40% weight against a 60% price weight in commercial evaluation.
